聚合鐵(PFC)是一種酸性聚合體之化合物,其分子式為[Fe2(OH)n(CLn)3-N/2]m,其中n>2;m=f(n)。在水溶液中存在大量的[Fe2(OH)3]3+, [Fe(H2O)6]3+, [Fe3(OH)3]6+等聚合鐵錯合離子,是一種容易形成膠體和凝聚性能極佳的凝聚劑。其分子具有多核錯合離子的立體聚合結構。在水中能快速水解,產生高效能的 Fe[Fe(OH)2]n(3+n)+多核羥基錯合正離子。在原水的淨化過程中,既有強烈的中和懸浮物體表面電荷的能力,又有懸浮粒子間架起橋樑的作用。

  • 廢乳化液和乳濁液以及含油廢水破乳劑。
  • 自來水處理:去除濁度、色度、鐵、錳、藻類等,提升水質清澈度與穩定性。
  • 生化(濃縮)污泥脫水與泥水分離:協助污泥脫水、提高泥餅含固率,降低後端處理成本。
  • 市政污水處理:用於生活污水中的除磷與有機物去除,降低 COD、BOD 值。
  • 工業廢水處理:廣泛應用於造紙、印染、屠宰、啤酒廠、化工、鋼鐵、煤炭等行業廢水的混凝沉澱與脫色。

Poly Ferric Chloride (PFC) is an acidic polymeric compound with the molecular formula [Fe₂(OH)ₙ(CLn)₃–N/2]ₘ, where n > 2 and m = f(n). In aqueous solutions, it contains a large number of polymeric iron complex ions such as [Fe₂(OH)₃]³⁺, [Fe(H₂O)₆]³⁺, and [Fe₃(OH)₃]⁶⁺. It is a coagulant that easily forms colloids and exhibits excellent coagulation performance. Its molecular structure consists of three-dimensional polymerized multinuclear complex ions.

PFC hydrolyzes rapidly in water, generating highly efficient multinuclear hydroxy iron complex cations, such as Fe[Fe(OH)₂]ₙ^(3+n)⁺. During raw water purification, it effectively neutralizes the surface charge of suspended particles and bridges the particles to enhance floc formation.

  • High Coagulation Efficiency

Contains multivalent iron ions that rapidly form flocs, effectively removing suspended solids, colloids, heavy metals, and other impurities from water.

  • Wide Applicable pH Range

Effective across a wide pH range (approximately 4–11), with optimal performance under acidic to mildly alkaline conditions.

  • Strong Decolorization and Phosphorus Removal Capability

It shows excellent performance in decolorizing and removing phosphorus from dyeing wastewater, industrial effluent, and domestic sewage.

  • Relatively High Corrosiveness

Due to the presence of free acids, corrosion resistance is required for storage and handling equipment.

  • Fast Settling and Low Sludge Volume

The dense flocs settle quickly, reducing the cost and volume of sludge treatment.

  • Good Solubility and Easy to Use

Available in liquid or powder form, it dissolves quickly and does not easily clog equipment.

Used to break emulsions and separate oil from water in waste emulsions, emulsified wastewater, and oily wastewater.

  • Drinking Water Treatment

Removes turbidity, color, iron, manganese, algae, and other impurities to improve water clarity and stability.

  • Sludge Dewatering and Solid-Liquid Separation in Biological (Thickened) Sludge

Helps with sludge dewatering, increases the solid content of sludge cakes, and reduces the cost of downstream sludge treatment.

  • Municipal Wastewater Treatment

Used for phosphorus and organic matter removal in domestic sewage, effectively reducing COD and BOD levels.

  • Industrial Wastewater Treatment
